Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (“CA-CIB”) Graduate Technology Associate Programme is an exciting career gateway into the financial services sector. We are seeking highly motivated graduates and aspiring tech-innovators to offer an accelerated induction experience and fast-tracked career in the banking industry.

Main Responsibilities

The position is within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division which manages information systems for capital markets activities which includes Front Office (FO) booking platforms, Risk Management (RM) control and regulatory reporting systems, financial product and contract valuation systems etc.

Our Graduate Program includes high intensive training program with focus on:

-Providing you with a unique opportunity to embark on the investment banking career with challenging responsibilities and rewarding career progression as you make valuable contributions to Crédit Agricole CIB’s banking business process.
-Building firm foundations for both functional and technical principles covering the concepts & best practices in capital market & risk management.
-Building capability & leadership skills to cope with rapidly evolving industry and be future ready.

Initial Training consists of:
-Learning about our purpose, business and strategic priorities and key note addresses from our management.
-On boarding to a well-structured training program where you will be paired with your mentor to guide you through your learning journey while you gain exposure to the various functions within the organization.
-Classroom instructor led training with extension to different e-learning module to firm your understandings. Program is well designed to track your progression with case study, assignment and various presentations.
-Rotations amongst different function of Front Office, Middle office, and Back office operation in the initial 2 months of generic training. It will enable you to have broader understanding of various capital market & risk management function around the complex market traded products asset classes like Interest rate derivative, Fixed Income, FX, Money Market and various reporting framework in area of market risk [FRTB], Credit Risk [SA CCR], Liquidity Management [LCR & NSFR].
-Developing your understanding in technology architecture & management of applications supporting the different CMI function. You will have the opportunity to learn how banking solutions can be rapidly designed and delivered using the AGILE framework from our technical experts.

Upon completion of the initial program you will be able to join a role within the department in any 1 of the following possible areas:
Business support function
Business analysis & delivery
Quality assurance function

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

• A Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree from a recognized university.

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years


• Proficient in at least one coding language (XML, SQL, Python, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience in developer role, working in Capital Markets environment and/or knowledge of Windows/Linux and scripting would be strong advantage.

Required skills

·         A drive for customer focus and careful observance of policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
