Job summary

Position

We are starting the decommissioning of our Kondor Plus trading platform for our Treasury business to transfer this activity to our main front office target platform (Orchestrade or OT). Orchestrade is already implemented for a large list of assets and business lines.

The DeKOT project (decommissioning of Kondor+ to migrate into Orchestrade) will migrate our worldwide cross asset treasury platform (all products) booked in several instances of Kondor Plus. We are creating a team in Singapore to take in charge some part of the project (e.g. In-bound and out-bound flows of the platform for various systems or modules, API…). Performance and latency of those interfaces will be key for the success of the project.

With strong interactions with our Paris Head office team, the business analyst would work with the first team members and development team based in Asia in Singapore, our IT treasury team, business stakeholders in the region and our head office teams. The team will be fully allocated to this project and will be part of a multi sites project team.

 

Main responsibilities

Build & change management

·    Analyze enhancement and propose solutions in collaboration with Architects, developers and business stakeholders.

·    Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.

·    Coordinate user acceptance tests.

·    Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.

·    Support the release roadmap in production.

 

Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)

·    Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs.

 

Continuous improvement

·    Improve operational processes.

 

Supplementary Information

Qualifications and Profile 

·    Minimum 5 years experience as front office post trade business analyst.

·    Experience on Front Office systems (In-house or third-party systems).

·    Understanding of financial assets (banking treasury products) and trade lifecycle particularly Fixed income and money market products in their many forms, knowledge of risk management concepts and market data...

·    Experience in interfacing FO or BO systems with external systems.

·    Hands-on experience in implementation projects.

·    AGILE track record.

·    Technical background with shell script and sql/plsql, knowledge preferable of .net core / java and Azure devops  

 

The candidate should have analytical and problem solving skills, a pro-active mind-set, and proven ability to work individually under pressure. Team player with good interpersonal skills. Very good communication skills and keen to work with business users.

 

All candidates, but particularly seniors, are held to high a standard when it comes to communication, both oral and written. You should have good expository style, be able to explain yourself clearly and concisely, especially when the subject is technical and complex. Your spoken English must be extremely fluent. We are an international bank and communication in English with collaborators the world over will be a big part of the job, especially over the phone. Good “written” or “professional” English will not be sufficient for this role.
