Job summary

In your function, you are providing Client support to Business Lines and Support Functions with hardware, security patching and applications in a high pace banking environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise, maintain, secure and support local client IT environment and remote workers in Germany (3 physical sites)
  • IT Support coordination between local and remote teams on user requests, Infrastructure, Network and Simplivity solution with VMware
  • Administration and Support of local workstations and Laptops, server farm applications, file shares and printing
  • Scripting and Packaging via Altiris and Power Shell
  • Ensuring that the local environment security patching is up to date and controlled for servers and user clients
  • Maintaining and updating Procedures, SOPs, Handbooks, controls and KPIs
  • Administration of Cisco Telephony (Jabber and Kurmi), ETRALI Trading Telephony and Corporate mobile solution using Android
  • Support on collaboration tools (WEBEX, MS Teams and Video Conference solutions)
  • Providing excellent support on applications used by staff and Microsoft Office suite
  • Providing in-depth and hands-on hardware support for servers, user hardware (Laptops and Workstations) and all related IT equipment
  • Understanding the needs and business of our internal partners and clients via regular reviews. Proposal of improvements and action plans followed together with local IT Manager and COO.

Minimum 5 years' experience with Client Support within a complex and ideally banking infrastructure environment

Required skills

- Highly organized and able to prioritize and to work to agreed deadlines
- Open to learning, enthusiastic

Technical skills required

Overview and having worked with SAN environment, Microsoft servers and related products, Altiris, DNS / DHCP, Cisco telephony & network, Corporate mobile support using Black Berry Works


Very good knowledge of English / German would be a plus
