Job summary



To have responsibility for the production of Management Reporting in connection with the Capital Markets activities.

To have Global responsibility for all management reporting in respect of GMD COO Office

To have management overview of the GMD Management Accountant and to assist in the management of the Team Stagiaire



Key Responsibilities


They will be responsible for the following main areas of management reporting.


1. Capital Markets

·   Ensuring the correct accounting and reporting of sales income and profit splits based on information received from GMD/ Paris

·   Preparing the spot statements to the entities

·   Monitoring of  contractors expenses & negative NBI movements

·   Full overview of Budgeting for GMD

·   Preparing summaries of GMD income for use in monthly management reporting of CA-CIB London.

·   Monitoring of outstanding cross-border currency position with Financial Control for currency hedging.

·   Global reporting responsibility for GMD COO Office actively participating in the annual budget exercise for both Paris and London

·   Preparing monthly commentary for capital markets businesses

·   To work on transversal issues such as essbase project and client live reporting

·   Participating to the improvement of the monthly dashboards

·   Training of the GMD Management Accountant




Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities


·        Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

·        Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality


Professional UK Accounting qualification or part qualified (on going study a must).



University degree



Extensive knowledge of management reporting ideally in a banking environment


Knowledge of banking products, especially capital markets

Required skills


Ability to work under pressure

Ability to communicate at all levels

Self motivation

Technical skills required


Very IT literate (specifically Word & Excel)


Fluent English, written and oral


To be able to deal with Senior Executives of CA-CIB and Desk Heads within GMD
