Main responsibilities:
Organize and prepare the Software Engineering practices according to the needs of the bank.
Create a sustainable and productive environment for the teams to be in the best level of performance while developing themselves.
Ensure the utmost level of quality of the deliverables produced by the department.
Manage the budget of both IT Business Lines contribution as well as the department internal budget.
Implement the directives, ways of working and overall strategy of the bank inside the department.
Ensure a proper level of project management and software engineering according to the bank standards.
Represent the department in front of the Business and IT Management in collaboration with head of CCS.
Ensure a continuous work on the improvement of the Ways Of Working, tooling, sourcing, training, coaching, methodology, software engineering, organization and governance of the department as well as Singapore Center as a whole.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibility:
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Make sure his/her team members observe and respect the Bank’s CA-CIB code of conduct and comply with Bank policies
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
