Mission statement:


The Combined US Operations (CUSO) Compliance function leads the Compliance function within the region and provides oversight to several Credit Agricole (CA) functions and entities, primarily involving wholesale banking and investment management activities.  CUSO Compliance is responsible for developing and coordinating a comprehensive and integrated Compliance function through effective management of the Compliance teams and the establishment of uniform standards of operation amongst the various CA entities within the region. 

CUSO Compliance seeks an individual to join the department as a corporate compliance associate to perform a wide range of responsibilities within the department, primarily involved in the performance of Compliance Risk Assessments, but may also including support the compilation of governance and management reporting materials. This role will afford an opportunity for broad exposure across all areas of Compliance and senior management within the bank. The role will require extensive communications, with coordination across departments and geographies to obtain and compile sensitive materials for review and assessment. 

The role requires an understanding of US bank regulations and working within a regulated industry. 

The successful candidate should be able to effectively collaborate within a team setting and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.  This role will require coordination and proactive outreach to various groups and divisions within CA to collect and communicate information concerning business activities and the potential risks to the bank.  The individual will also periodically interact with management and regulatory representatives, as well as assist in the development of corresponding materials.  


Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years


At least 2 years of professional experience in a banking or regulatory organization, preferably within a financial institution focusing on investment banking or asset management.
