Job summary
Mission statement
The candidate will be responsible for the management of models used by Compliance in CACIB Americas, owned either by Head Office or by CPL US or CPL Brazil.
The candidate will own the policies and procedures related to model risk management, provide update to Compliance Committees, implement model ongoing performance monitoring , support IT for model implementation and coordinate the independent model reviews. Be model correspondent for models managed by Head Office but used in the Americas.
The person will:
· Manage the CPL model inventory to ensure its completeness and accuracy and inform LoD2 and CPL HO for any anticipated changes
⦁ Coordinate model inventory annual attestation between LoD2 and CPL stakeholders
⦁ Oversees Model validation finding remediation on compliance models, ensuring the timeliness of deliverables and acting as main point of contact between recommendations owners and LoD2
⦁ design and report performance metrics to LoD2 before each CUSO MRM Committee
⦁ Develop and enforce the Compliance model Governance framework, policies and standards in line with U.S. regulations and CPL HO policies including CUSO MRM Governance text
The candidate will design and implement KPI and communication to the local management regarding the perimeter of their activities.
⦁ Assist in preparing CUSO MRM Committee materials for CPL scope
Execute 1LoD responsibilities as per SR 11-07 for model reviews
Propose action plan on 2LoD findings
Follow-up on findings and ensure timely closure
The candidate will be a key element in the escalation process and review of potential frauds and acts of corruption.

Experience
At least 10 years of experience in Compliance, Model design and implementation
Experience in the financial services preferred, but experience in other industries on the relevant topics are also valued.
Required skills
The capability to understand Compliance models.
A good understanding of regulatory requirements and expectations, and a strong experience in managing complex, sensitive projects with strict deadlines in an international environment.
