Job summary


The Communications Surveillance Analyst is responsible for surveillance and monitoring of electronic and voice communications of CACIB and CAS-USA staff.

Key Responsibilities

This Surveillance Analyst will:


· Perform routine surveillance of electronic and voice communications to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and detect if any possible violations of policy, regulation and/or law have occurred. 

· Conduct research by working with management to analyze potential breaches and gauge the severity of breaches. 

· Report issues to management for further action. 

· Maintain an audit trail of all investigations and maintain a database of search rules in an automated surveillance system.



Management and Reporting

The Surveillance Analyst reports directly to the CCO of CAS-USA/Head of Capital Markets Compliance in the Americas and ultimately to the Regional Compliance Officer for the Americas.
