Job summary

Key Responsibilities

•       Support analyst on ACBS and its eco-system

-       Address user’s requests/questions on applications related to commercial banking domain (more specifically ACBS and upstream/downstream applications): requests analysis, coordination with development and technical support team, testing

-       Vendor contact for: BCP tests, connectivity, systems enhancements

-       Supervise system monitoring by the vendor

-       Incidents

-       Problem management and continuous improvement

 

•       Business analysis on ACBS and its ecosystem

-       Gather requirements and define specifications so development can be done.

-       Propose and design technology solutions and transform them into clear business and technical requirements.

-       Coordinate and assist with development teams to ensure proper implementation of business requirement in the information system.

-       Liaise with the business (Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial business lines) to understand strategies and interpret underlying business needs.

-       Utilize query tools to confirm data quality, conduct Data Lineage and analysis

-       Organize and conduct functional testing on major projects or complex changes

 

Additional responsibilities

 

All activities should be conducting in following context:

•       Ensure the respect of policies and procedures of the Bank, as well as regulatory requirements.

•       Ensure accuracy and expediency of any activity related to audits.

•       Ensure that all system implementations meet US regulatory standards and are done in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Any external provider involved in projects and more specifically Head Office IT and business teams

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor’s Degree

 

Strong cross-group collaboration and relationship management skills including coordinating with geographically dispersed teams to achieve deliverables

 

Strong skills in developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

3 years’ experience experience in user support role or business analysis in a technology area.

 

Financial Services industry experience

Required skills

Essential

Hands-on experience and knowledge in at least one of the following areas

·         Commercial banking (lending activity or trade Finance)

·         Credit Risk

·         Accounting and Financial reporting

Soft skills:

o    Good written and verbal communication skills

o    Good organizational skills with attention to detail

o    Multi-tasking

o    Ability to analyze and summaries information

o    Ability to work autonomously

o    Comfortable in working with multiple teams across locations with excellent inter-personal skills.

 

Desirable

-Project management

-Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Visio, Power Point, Word

-Experience in multicultural environment 

-ACBS (commercial back office application) knowledge/experience is not mandatory but will be a real plus

-Knowledge of alternate commercial back office system (LoanIQ for instance)
