Summary:
An Associate for the Energy and Infrastructure Group will support business origination teams in their efforts to originate and execute project finance transactions. Additionally, the team member will assist in managing and monitoring a large and diverse portfolio of project financings covering the North American energy & infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities:
· Participating in preparation of credit applications including a description of the transaction, presentation of the main features, especially focusing on risk analysis
· Conducting detailed financial modelling and valuation analyses
· Assist in the preparation of marketing pitches
· Process amendments, consents and waivers, and complete annual reviews for existing portfolio project financings
· Participating in preparation of special projects / ad hoc analysis
· KYC and systems work done in conjunction with Borrower on-boarding and financial close
· Prepare internal systems in conjunction with credit process (Eureca, Phidias, Anadefi, etc.)
Qualifications:
· [1-4] years work experience in finance or energy/power / infrastructure related business
· Undergraduate and / or graduate degree in finance, economics or related field.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and demonstrated strong excel skills
SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of the internal organization and systems of the bank.
BA, BS and / or MBA in Finance or related field
