Project Finance Associate, Energy & Infrastructure Group (Hong Kong or Singapore)
Opportunity to join a leading global asset finance bank and a very dynamic team focusing on real asset financing across Asia with an emphasis on energy transition themes across the power, infrastructure and resources sectors, including new and frontier sectors (EV battery value chain, hydrogen, carbon storage). Position open to be based either in Hong Kong or Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the origination of project finance transactions in the key sectors of power & renewables, infrastructure, natural resources and metals & mining, across full asset life cycle (greenfield, brownfield and acquisitions) in the capacity of advisor, arranger and underwriter
Execute all aspects of said transactions, from commercial negotiation, credit process, financial modelling, due diligence, documentation, through to Financial Close
Generate cross sell, including hedging, investment banking, trade finance, and DCM
Play an active and prominent role in teams providing Financial Advisory to clients, in particular act as lead project finance modeler (building, maintaining and running project finance financial model)
Mentoring of the Analyst team, including in relation to the development of high level financial modelling capabilities
Assist in developing and maintaining new and existing client relationships, in order to support the team in growing business in the region, including preparation of marketing related material

Academic qualification / Speciality
Degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant discipline

Experience
- 3-5 year of experience in project finance with relevant sectorial knowledge
- Experience in dynamic sales environment with strong business development/sales skills
- Project financing experience and strong project finance modelling skills, experience in building greenfield project finance financial model, ideally in an advisory capacity in a project finance bank, advisory firm or project sponsor
- The ideal candidate would bring strong experience in the key sectors covered by the team. A candidate with exposure to renewable financing and advisory would be a strong plus
