Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Directors and Associate Directors in the origination of new business for AFA including leveraged and TMT loans for LTFG and Corporate Event-driven financing for DOD / AFA
  • Support the Rating and Capital Structure Advisory activity (modelling, pitch books, research etc.)
  • Support deal execution as a capacity of financial advisor, arranger, underwriter or other roles (agent, etc.) throughout the Asia-Pacific region
  • Financial analysis, research and modelling in the execution of mandates (arranging or advisory)
  • Research, marketing and the preparation of proposals or presentations to prospective clients
  • Drafting and follow-up of BOM/Early Bird, credit applications and annual reviews
  • Generally, assistance to the CIB & SFI teams in all commercial, execution, marketing and reporting / budgeting functions
  • Support and guide the more junior members of the team

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant discipline from a top university.

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

At least 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in leveraged, TMT & acquisition finance or debt / rating advisory or M&A

Languages

Excellent written and spoken English; Fluent Mandarin is required
