Summary
Within Capital Markets Operations (CMO), Middle Office teams (CMM) are in charge of controlling the booking of transactions in CACIB’s Front Office and Back Office tools and managing the life cycle of operations. In addition to booking control, CMM in Hong Kong / Market Data Administration (MDA) team also manages referential data activity, such as prices (dynamic data), description of different financial instruments (Static Data): Shares, Bonds, Futures, Listed options, Warrants and so on.
In a dynamic and International environment, as part of our team, will take in charge the control and support functions of the operations initiated by the GMD Front Office in Hong Kong, Asia satellites sites and the GULF (where possible based on the activity covered), from the negotiation and recording of the transactions.
The position is based in Hong Kong and your role will be to facilitate and to smooth the processing of the operations in the processing chains by ensuring an effective and relevant control process of operations. (Global Markets Division = GMD Business Lines: Forex, Credit, Treasury and Interest Rates Derivatives).
Key Responsibilities
Below are four key function under Middle Office team :
Trading & Sales Support / Post Trade Support
- Provide support to Front Office business lines under Global Markets Division during Asian trading hours.
- Ensure transactional integrity across front and back office applications
- Deal checking against trade supporting documents and liaise with FO, broker and external counterparties for any trade discrepancy.
- Perform trade validation, modification, cancellation and/ or trade event processing upon trading approval or when straight through processing is not in placed.
- For Equity Investment Solution activity, handle dividend and cash flow processing.
Trade Reconciliation
- Identify, investigate and follow-up of trade breaks identified during the front to back or front to front reconciliation process with support function teams in Asia and the GULF.
Market Data Administration (MDA)
- Daily management of the Market Data: Creation of different instruments and data control in the referential data base CARD (CA-CIB Architecture Referential Data) and several FO/BO systems, management of event/corporate actions affecting the stock of instruments, requests raised by application users related to CARD
Apart from daily production, you will be engaged to carry out common projects/global initiatives and participate in system enhancement and relevant UAT testing.

Technical skills required
• Good knowledge of financial products and understanding of the operational risks involved in Fixed Income and FX products

Languages
Fluency in English. Proficient in French or other Asian languages a plus
