Job summary
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, structure and execute U.S. and cross border financing transactions for Corporate and Sponsor clients within the leveraged (non-investment grade) & acquisition finance space.
- Identify financing solutions for clients across debt capital markets including bank, institutional Term Loan B and secured and unsecured high yield bond markets.
- Manage internal and external deal processes with respect to deal documentation, marketing materials, and credit and underwriting approvals.
- Take ownership of preparation of marketing materials to sponsor and corporate clients and development and expansion of business.
- Prepare capital structure analysis for new and existing clients and situations which could include analyzing comparable transactions, ratings analysis, and evaluating market data.
- Liaise with other product areas as necessary including liability management, interest rate derivatives, as well as coverage, credit and legal as necessary on new and existing transactions and client relationship management.
- Production of financial models, credit requests and financial analysis.
- Negotiation and execution of term sheets, commitment documents and credit documents in liaison with internal and external legal counsel.
- Oversee the preparation of pitch books and market updates for clients.
- Monitor the existing client loan portfolio for credit quality / financial performance and potential new transaction and refinancing opportunities.
- Client facing role on growing team.
