Job summary
Summary
Business Manager intern to assist and support the COO of the Primary Credit platform in its role.
Primary Credit team professionals are focused on the origination and structuring of bond solutions for corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns, supra-nationals and agencies. The team's market activities are supplemented by a robust MTNs & private placement business.
The issuers with whom Crédit Agricole CIB works range across the credit spectrum, from investment grade to high yield. The Bank serves issuers located throughout Europe and the United States, as well as in emerging regions such as Latin America, the GCC, Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific. Crédit Agricole CIB has also been active in Australia and Japan.
The internship proposed is at the heart of the Primary Credit Product Line. Based in the Syndicate trading room London working as part of the Primary Credit business which is run round the clock 5days a week -time zones from Hong Kong to New York.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist the Business Management team in the preparation of Primary Credit presentation
· Participate to the markets and league tables analysis
· Perform daily Credit P&L production and related commercial analyses for the Primary Credit Management
· Maintain intellectual capital of the group, including databases of recent issues, pipelines
· Help in reviewing, updating, maintaining and implementing Policies and Procedures of Primary Credit
· Assist the Global Credit Business Manager in on-going projects
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
· Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
· Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
