Job summary

To assist the Head of Communications London Branch (HCLB) to deliver all aspects of internal and external communications and campaigns both online and offline

 

Key responsibilities:

  • This is a small team which provides a Communications service for all departments in the Branch (except GMD) and the Debt Optimisation & Distribution team globally.  It is a great opportunity for an intern to get involved in a wide range of communication and marketing projects. There is a lot of scope to develop.

 

Internal:

  • Ability to draft communication messages to assist in message cascading
  • Assist in organising events e.g. presentations, webex meetings, team events, corporate hospitality
  • Intranet: Update and manage content published on the intranet, ensuring all data is up to date.  Assist content managers with training and troubleshooting Technology: to use a number of online tools as part of the role; Mass mailer, Webex, skype, , IPTV, Cannect, eCannect, hootsuite, Evenium etc
  • Publications/Video: Assist with souring content, creation and design of publications and videos e.g. the monthly and quarterly newsletters, brochures, video advertising etc
  • Philanthropy:  Assist in promoting CACIB London’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
  • Marketing/Branding/Creativity: Work with our in-house graphics team to produce marketing materials and be guardian of the brand

 

External:

  • Social media:  Assist drafting social media messaging for twitter and linkedin
    Events: Assist with organising client events and marketing campaigns

Other:
Ad-hoc support with internal/external communications requests and tactical delivery of projects

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • In order to be considered for this vacancy you must be qualified to bachelors degree level (minimal classification 2:1), it would be advantageous if for your degree to be within Marketing or Communications.

Required skills

  • Proactive nature with a real 'can do' attitude and ability to adapt in a fast changing environment
  • Tech savvy: basic MS Word, Excel, powerpoint, social media
  • Excellent communication, writing organisational and follow-up skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Flexibility, autonomy, creative, logical, proactive
