Summary:

The role is to assist the Chief of Staff specifically in charge of conducting various transversal missions on behalf of Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) London Chief Operating Officer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent directly gets instructions from the COS for each mission that will be decided or given priority to and may on this occasion:

·  Within the learning phase (6 months) assist the COS in managing transversal projects within London or within EMEA in conjunction with Country COO’s or between Paris and London.

· Take the lead on some projects under the responsibility of the Chief of Staff.

· Assist the COS in the follow-up of the different actions identified during the analysis phase of a project and facilitate its implementation.

· Organise collaborative transversal work sessions between various department representatives from the Front Office and Support functions, some of them being not under the direct responsibility of the COO, others being part of a matrix organisation with Paris.

· Conduct analysis of processes, workflows and produce conclusive reports. This may include delivery and follow-up of ad-hoc missions from the COS (post-mortems, investigations)

· Participate in the preparation of various committees

 

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

·  Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

·  Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

 

Key internal contacts:

The role requires the incumbent to form and maintain working relationships with all departments of the Bank in London and Paris.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

In order to be eligible to apply for the position you much have a bachelors degree with the minimum classification of 2:1.

It would be seen as advantageous if your degree is in Business, Finance, Business Management or Engineering.

Required skills

-Short term prior experience in banking environment (audit, Finance, operations or IT) i.e. s summer internship or work experience placement.
- Ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
- Rigour and sense of organisation
- Autonomy
- Capacity to cooperate/Ability to work across disciplines
- Open mindedness and ability to integrate new information at a fast pace

Technical skills required

- Experienced in MS Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
