Position
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek an IT manager for managing the Acquisition Team whom shall be responsible and proficient in team management, IT systems and solving high complexity business problems; using latest technologies like micro-services, containers, dev-ops best practices (when applicable) in order to help Credit Agricole transform its IT landscape.
The candidate will manage an IT team which is under Cash Management section, within CCS, working and managing 3 different applications.
He/she shall ensure that all the projects, activities and following tasks (non-exhaustive) under his/her responsibilities are performed within quality standards, on schedule and within validated cost boundaries:
· People Management – Coaching, Training, Appraisals and staff development for continuous improvement and group compliance
· Application owner – ensure applications are always compliant and stable according to organization guidelines and best IT practices
· POC between external teams and Paris for operational issues, escalations
· Supervises and oversees application development activities
· Supervises and oversees L3 support activities
Main responsibilities
Team Head
· Team head – overall supervision, strategize, plan and oversee the team
· Advisory role to contribute through sponsors on possible IT solutions as well as impact on existing legacy
· Advisory role to Head of Section on overall resourcing and team dynamics
· Support and execution role to Head of Section for priority initiatives
· Team organization – recruitment/hiring of new staffs or replacement, project/resourcing organization, alignment with Paris Delivery management, orchestrate and oversee architecture orientation of all solutions, cost estimations of projects, etc.
· Setup and track individual team member KPI with proper audit trail by reviewing on fixed intervals and incase of improvements needed, to propose improvement plans with member
· Discover and groom talents within the team, plan for succession and redundancy
· Create team culture and condition to promote and maintain good level of staff motivation
Team Organization/Governance
· Forecasting of team momentum based on overall roadmap demands and escalate promptly for help if required
· Acting as a Project manager – to review/instill project governance, models and monitor the efficiency of the framework and project outputs
· Challenge business needs and provide delivery through highest business values in respective implementation by incorporating proper governance in project delivery and process
· Organization of team in order to fully support/maintain application in production and respecting all SLA
· Alignment of team and support teams to properly apply the practices of RUN/BAU
Team Know-Hows
· Challenge externals teams on overall E2E solution so as to ensure that solution implemented within team has no regression impact and vice versa
· Build to guarantee level of delivery quality in order to achieve sponsors’ agreement to project deliverables and maintain level of stability of application in production
· Share and create best practices within the team, in alignment with department’s missions
· Apply and enforce CACIB lean management practices within team (e.g. PSS, coaching/feedback, SOP, Knowledge retention)
· Maintain and monitor quality of application and propose any needs of improvement/refactoring plan in the event of alerts such as high tech debt or obsolescence
· Implement and/or improve continuously software engineering practices/processes within the team
· Empower and delegate critical tasks to key members, reviewing all deliverables to be in accordance with intended outcome
