Job summary
We are seeking a highly capable Syndicated Loans Closer to join our EMEA Loan Trading team in London. This is a critical execution role within a fast-paced secondary loans environment, offering exposure to complex transactions, cross-border stakeholders, and high-value deal flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the closing and settlement of secondary loan trades, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and within agreed timelines.
- Review finance documentation and prepare, validate and execute all required transfer documentation, engaging legal counsel where appropriate.
- Liaise with lenders, agent banks, borrowers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of trade settlements.
- Ensure transferability conditions, legal requirements and KYC obligations are fully satisfied prior to closing.
- Partner with Operations to confirm accurate cash flows, fee payments and settlements.
- Maintain accurate trade records across systems including ClearPar and Loantrak.
- Manage documentation, audit trails and ongoing requirements such as amendments, waivers and lender communications.

- Solid understanding of agent bank practices, settlement mechanics, and KYC requirements.
Required skills
- Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with precision and minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across front office, legal and operations teams.
Technical skills required
- Strong working knowledge of ClearPar and syndicated loan processes.
