Position: Chief Information Officer, US Analyst

US Analyst Program Overview: 

This is a two-year contractual role for individuals who have graduated and currently hold 0-1 years of experience. The purpose of this role is to develop US Analysts into permanent full time employees at the bank. Our US Analyst program spans across all teams and divisions. 

 

Team description: 

The CIO office assists the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is setting up solid IT & non-IT governance processes -a vision of repeatable processes, clear lines of accountability within the IT organization and consistent communication of standards. The CIO office is particularly responsible for the following core responsibilities: Budget Management, Outsourced vendors management, Permanent control & relation with internal audit & cyber security departments. 

 

Job Summary: 

Within the CIO office, you will primarily assist the Budget Management officer in ensuring the good monitoring of budgets by IT line and be a key participant in the preparation of the 2025 budget. You will also have the opportunity to discover the activities of an IT organization by supporting the outsourcing officer in the management of strategic vendors. Eventually, your analytical skills and knowledge of excel, VBA and of visualization, tools (Power BI, Tableau...) will allow you to participate in the streamlining and automation of the CIO office processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Management

  • Ensure monitoring of IT line budgets, in particular ensuring compliance with the commitment processes in relation to the internal budget tool, and managing the end of year landing of expenses
  • In relation with the procurement and the financial department, ensure that all orders have been reported and that invoicing/accruals status is monitored
  • Efficiently contribute to the Budget reporting (Burn rate, Forecast, Budget transfers…)
  • Participate in the development of 2025 budget based on 2024 actuals and 2025 IT roadmap

Outsourcing Management

  • Follow/monitor/report the performance of outsourcing vendors
  • Support the vendor management relationship
  • Participate in the implementation of Global IT methodologies and processes when necessary
  • Contribute to monitoring risks associated with partnerships/outsourcing
  • Ensure compliance with security and compliance rules

Other tasks:

  • Participate in the streamlining of CIO processes (data analysis, process mapping and enhancement…)
  • Participate in the automation of CIO office processes (Report automation & Data visualization)
  • Participate in internal departmental communication
  • Ad hoc internal projects or reporting activities
