Missions
Are you our future VIE ?
You will join the International Trade and Transaction Banking team at Credit Agricole CIB Australia in Sydney as a Trade Finance Analyst.
International Trade and Transaction Banking (ITB) is one of the key financing activities of Crédit Agricole CIB. The main goal of ITB is to support Corporate and Financial Institution clients in their day-to-day and working capital optimization needs.
Within ITB, Global Trade & Commodities provides short to medium term trade facilities and financing solutions to CACIB's clients in order to optimize their working capital requirements.
Main responsibilities
Support the ITB Originator in the process of obtaining required local/regional approvals for launch of new ITB products in Australia, in coordination with the relevant Product teams.
Contribute to due diligence on clients and prospects, conduct market research / due diligences to help identify market trends and opportunities.
Support the ITB Origination in the origination efforts through preparation and drafting of client pitches, internal / external presentations and term sheets / proposals. Assist on various periodic reporting / projects when required.
Attend client / prospects meetings, together with the ITB Originator and Coverage teams, and write call memos.
Working closely with products teams, legal, compliance, back-office and other internal stakeholders for selected transactions execution.
Coordination with ITB teams in other locations within the international network of Credit Agricole CIB on their requests for local guarantees reissuance.
To be eligible for a VIE in Australia :
- Be less than 28 years old
- Be graduated of Master Degree
- Be French citizen

Expérience
Ideally, prior experience in Trade Finance and Corporate Banking / Finance.
Compétences recherchées
Hard Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with an excellent understanding of financial statements.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Fluent in French & English
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in a small team
