Trainee will support GMD product sales to corporate clients by assisting execution, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with internal stakeholders for smooth transactions.
Key responsibilities
1. Strategy and Business Planning
- Provide prompt update of market to clients and help daily flow business opportunities
- Execute deals mostly focusing on daily flows, under supervision of a permanent staff
- Be aware of economic and financial data likely to affect the products being marketed
- Carry out operations to support the Cop sales team
2. Client & Relationship Management
- Engage with existing customers of the bank and help build relationships/ assist the team to set credit lines & documentations in place with new potential customers
3. Management and Reporting
- Report to the Head of Corp Sales on an informal basis on the progress of the business and specific issues
- Attend regular/ ad hoc meetings with the Sales team to review market strategy, exchange ideas and receive updates on any important administrative matters
4. Risk & Control Support
- Ensure client classification, internal approvals, and trade monitoring
- Support risk awareness and compliance throughout transactions
