Job summary

This trainee position provides operational and administrative support to Global Trade & Commodity (GTC) front officers for daily transaction execution, risk checking, and committee preparation.

 

Key responsibilities

1. Transaction Execution

  • Assist with internal systems.
  • Follow up on documentation under supervisor guidance.
  • Support ITB Business Committee preparation by drafting Early Bird profiles for new deals and facilities.
  • Help operate compliance due diligence for GTC transactions.

 

2. Reporting and Coordination

  • Compile regular and ad-hoc reports including the weekly deal status, weekly outstanding balance, and RWA, EVA, and PI data updates.
  • Provide administrative support to CACIB networks to facilitate their activities and follow up requests.
  • Coordinate operational GTC matters across Financing and Trade Operations, Financial Institution Group, and Corporate Coverage as directed by the team.
  • Assist any additional work assigned by the manager.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Candidates who have completed all graduation requirements and are available to start work ASAP.
  • Candidates with less than one year of post-graduation work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or related major.

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years

Experience

  • Basic knowledge in Letter of Credit preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skill, good teamwork, highly motivated, self-driven.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
