Job summary
CACIB is looking for a GSP associate to support and drive a variety of projects, including but not limited to managing the procure-to-pay lifecycle from sourcing, purchase orders and invoice management, as well as contract management and negotiations.
In addition, the associate will be supporting the sourcing of contingent labor (Request For Proposal managed through a dedicated procurement tool), the on-boarding and off-boarding of temporary resources and the maintenance of the relationships with Canadian providers.
The employee will report locally to the Head of Global Sourcing and Procurement in Canada and will be part of the Americas Global Sourcing and Procurement team.
Main Responsibilities
Contingent Labor Management:
- Support the implementation of CACIB's procurement platform "EASY" (Ivalua) in Canada.
- Manage and coordinate temporary and consultant sourcing and extension processes.
- Ensure contracts are fully executed by authorized signers, tracked, and uploaded into the system.
- Communicate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth extension process.
- Train new users on the Credit Agricole procurement platform and troubleshoot system errors with existing users.
Strategic Sourcing:
- Assist the Canada Head of Global Sourcing and Procurement in coordination with the businesses in developing a comprehensive strategic sourcing plan for various procurement categories. This includes in depth review of business requirements to identify and recommend optimal procurement strategies through analysis of current spend contracts and supply base. Along with the analysis of market trends and identification of key cost drivers.
- Ensure adherence to the Procurement Policy
- Assist sourcing projects through request for proposals (RFPs)
- Participate to the negotiation of contractual agreements
Procurement:
- Review and validate Purchase Orders per policies and procedures
- Challenge business requirements
- Negotiate with vendors for cost and spend optimization
- Ensure adherence to Credit Agricole global contracts
- Assist with vendor on-boarding, including third party risk management
Invoice Management:
- Review and verify IT invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas of improvement and work with respective stakeholders on implementing new solutions.
- Develop and document processes to optimize day-to-day functions

Technical Skills
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement
- Strong understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel advanced proficiency)
- Working knowledge of procurement or source-to-pay processes (purchase orders and invoice management)
- Negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of the procurement platform of Ivalua (or equivalent procurement tool)
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and French required (You will need to service Anglophone clients and work with Anglophone colleagues)
Non-Technical Skills
