Summary
Title: Senior Credit Analyst & Sector Head
Role: In charge of a portfolio of corporate clients belonging to a defined pole (i.e. a group of sectors) in the Asia-Pacific region and including in particular the tech sector.
Key Responsibilities
• To assess counterparty risks on credit requests, and provide high quality credit opinions at the regional level for the relevant sectors
• To coordinate with the Local SCS teams to maintain the quality of the portfolio in the relevant pole, by anticipating risks and react to any credit event, so as to take appropriate and timely measures with the relevant business lines
• To ensure a smooth credit process, making sure the department promptly issues synthetic and clear recommendations / decisions on credit requests / renewals, and ensuring proper communication with both HO and Local teams
• To monitor the operating performance and credit risk profile of the credit portfolio, assess adverse impacts if any, and take pre-emptive action
