Summary
The Scarce Resources and XVA Trading is part of the Global Market Division (GMD). This team includes:
- XVA & Collateral Trading
- Quantitative Research
- XVA Strategy & Transformation (Business Development)
- ALM-GMD (Liquidity and Balance Sheet)
In the framework of major regulatory changes, the mandate of the team is to:
- Reinforce Bank risk management
- Maintain the right balance between meeting accounting and regulatory constraints whilst remaining competitive
- Optimize scarce resources like Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Leverage Ratio…
- Manage and optimise collateral, Balance Sheet and liquidity for GMD
The mandate of the XVA Business Strategy & Development team is to :
- Maintain the operational efficiency of the Scarce Resources and XVA Trading desk
o focusing on: processes, systems, methodology, governance, default coordination - Conduct change Management in a proactive manner
- Coordinate Business projects
Key Responsibilities for XVA Scarce Resources and XVA trading Business Manager
Business Management and close business support:
- Ensure that all Scarce Resources and XVA Trading Desks processes run smoothly
- Improve and automate any processes using state of the art technology in accordance with internal technological choices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Contribute to maintaining integrity of the XVA desk and reporting framework
- Provide pricing statistics analysis and reporting notably on Scarce Resources metrics via Power BI
- Increase consistency of reporting Tools:
- Work closely with the collateral management desk to reinforce or establish procedure and policies, robustness of the tools and convergence to the global XVA Desk ecosystem.
Change Management:
The Scarce Resources and XVA trading Business Manager will have to be involved with a wealth of different interlocutors to deliver quality presentations, lean processes optimisation solutions etc.
He/she should lead XVA Strategy & Transformation change management campaigns and maintain high quality standards.
Governance
- Make sure that the all the procedures are adhered to by XVA trading team members
- Ensure that all processes used by the Scarce Resources and XVA Trading Desks are properly documented, updated and accessible by the desk and other departments
- Participate to redaction of new procedure or evolution of existing procedure
- Working on New Product Processes (NAP/CSTC)
- Assist in the treatment of Operational risk incidents for XVA perimeter:

Business Projects
Some Business projects where Scarce Resources and XVA trading Business Manager will be involved in coordination with the TTG project team will include:
- RWA Monitoring and optimization
- Profitability Workshops
- Working with Sales in each region to receive feedback on processes / operational issues:
- Continuous participation to the Scarce Resources and XVA Trading Desks transformation by enhancing pricing tools capacity capacities in coordination with XVA Trading
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Candidate criteria
Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
• Engineering school, University, or business school degree in finance or economy
Experience
- Motivation to work within the dealing room and support Business to make the set up as efficient as possible
- Banking experience in either a dealing room, a risk, audit/control or MO department or Business analyst / project manager position
- Good knowledge of Capital Markets product and risk associated
Required skills
Excellent communication skills - a lot of contacts with a wide range of interlocutors: Sales, Traders, support function, coverage.
