Job summary
Capital Market IT (CMI) is in charge of the information systems for Global Markets Division (and affiliated partner support functions) covering all capital markets domains (from pre-trade to post trade through risk management and regulatory reportings). CMI covers all IT activities, ensuring applicative support to end-users, maintenance and evolution of the information system including ambitious and innovative transformation programs to accompany business growth while protecting and reinforcing current best-in class business franchises. Capital Market IT teams are distributed across the world, currently in Paris, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.
In perspective of Global Markets Division (GMD) ambitions, Capital Market IT is looking to reinforce its presence in North America, consolidating and reinforcing its workforce on Fixed Income e-trading, pricing and booking activities (Rates, Bonds, Repos) and securitization activities, as well as US-specific back office systems (payment, reconciliations). The new setup will encompass build and run activities, fostering autonomy while leveraging on global systems with an ambitious target of 100+ headcounts in 2026.
In this context, the CMI CIO office is hiring a dedicated CIO PPMO in Montreal to set up and monitor the organization. CMI is re-organizing itself to centralize all CIO PPMO function, in order to standardize the tracking and coordination of budgets and all CIO related monitoring and controls.
Local reporting to: Local Head of CMI
Functional reporting to: Global Head of Capital Markets IT CIO Office
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the transition set-up (staff on-boarding and sourcing strategy follow-up) and central process implementation
· Relationship with procurement and HR
· Preparation of local Steerco in Canada and CMI worldwide steerco
· Budget construction and monthly monitoring (Actuals, Forecast, engagements…)
· Ensure data quality and fulfilment for Canada scope
· Tracking of audit recommendations and operational risks
· Project Portfolio management and monitoring on a monthly basis
· All CIO office duties determined by the central team in Paris
· Knowledge of Capital Markets activities, Front Office, Middle Office and/or Back Office professions, and financial products
