Within the IT & Operations division, the department Digital Excellence Center (DEC) in Singapore is strong of 150 staff. Our centers of excellence have established a recognized know-how on process digitalization and data analytics while our expertize on artificial intelligence is growing.

Every day, we work jointly with domain IT teams or directly with business stakeholders on digitalization of their processes and leveraging on their data while, in the background, we design, build and frame the next generation of shared services.

Position

In a challenging and multicultural environment, Software Engineer, accordingly with their specialization, maintains existing systems and build new solutions addressing the needs of all divisions of the bank.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented team-player to join a technology team that is responsible of a portfolio of solutions for various business lines of the bank (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Market Risk, Trade Finance, Operations …) and which is constantly growing his technical expertise for building a wide range of modern and reliable solutions.

Main responsibilities

·         Understand business & nonfunctional requirements

·         Understand solution architecture and integration challenges

·         Develop solutions based on requirements and propose relevant optimization

·         Maintain a high standard of delivery in term of quality and velocity

·         Elaborate project documentations (design documents, deployment guide …)

·         Blend in your team and collaborate effectively with other members

·         Contribute to reporting in place

Continuous Improvement

·         Proactively propose improvement of our processes (efficiency, reliability)

·         Establishment new know how supporting performance of your team on any aspect

Qualifications and Profile

Technical

·         Mastery of main development languages within our technical stacks (WebApp (.Net/Bootstrap/JQuery/React), SQL Server, MS BI or Java EE

·         Expertise in data management (database, data warehousing, big data, data collection, data visualization …)

·         Experience with modern development environment (CI/CD, devOps automation)

·         Experience with software development methodology

·         Good communication (written and verbal) and teamwork mindset

·         Strong desire to keep abreast of emerging technologies

Diploma and above in relevant discipline
