Job summary

**This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.

 

Summary
Assist in managing a portfolio of Banks, Non-Bank FIs and Official Institutions relationships mainly located in Hong Kong under the supervision of Senior FIG Banker.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior FI banker to act as Primary Coverage Officer in managing a portfolio of Banks, Non-Bank FIs, Central Banks and Official Institutions based in Hong Kong, Macau, Philippines and Vietnam.
  • To act as Global Relationship Manager for a portfolio of branches or subsidiaries of Chinese and Foreign Banks located in Hong Kong and Macau
  • Closely collaborate with the Global Markets Department (GMD) on business development of the assigned portfolio with focus in GMD and DCM business, and support cross-selling of other CACIB’s business lines, including but not limited to structured finance, transaction banking, syndicated loans, and sustainable banking.
  • To facilitate client access to other Branches and Units within CACIB global network, as well as other CA Group companies i.e. CACEIS, CA Indosuez and Amundi.
    To prepare and coordinate customer KYC process with Onboarding team.
  • To coordinate documentation negotiation process such as ISDA/CSA, GMRA and other facility agreements with Credit Coordination and Legal departments.
  • To assist in preparing credit review and to assist in credit monitoring and overall portfolio risk management.
  • To analyse information, prepare meetings and sales pitches, and to coordinate sales activity with business sectors, business lines, and international network
  • To prepare briefing memo, call reports, periodic performance reports and other ad-hoc reports.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Degree holder, preferably in Accountancy/Finance/Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • HKSFC Type 1 & 4

 

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

  • Possess 5-8 years relevant banking experience, including minimum 5 years of relevant experience in covering financial institutions sector (more experience candidate can be considered for Director position, while less experience candidate can be considered for VP position)
  • Relevant banking experiences in FIG / Sales with good understanding of global markets preferred
