Key Responsibilities
Trade Processing & Monitoring
- Provide support to Front Office business lines under Global Markets Division during Asian trading hours.
- Ensure transactional integrity across trading applications
- Perform booking control, trade modification, cancellation, and/ or trade event processing (ie: early termination, partial termination, unwind) sent by back office or front office upon trading approval and report profit and loss impact, if any.
- Monitoring, calculation and validation of events affecting the life of a structured product (coupons, Securities transactions, early partial closing, early exercise, maturity, nominal changes, etc.
- Monitoring and management of the market data repository (equities, indices, proprietary indices, third parties, calendars) with internal or external providers.
- Monitoring and booking of various corporate actions like dividends and cash flow processing.
- Provide an efficient post-trade support by ensuring trade information flows efficiently through deal processing from front office to back office system and front-office to front office system.
- Investigate and follow-up of breaks sent by back office, front office and other internal departments.
- Support local business development and volume increase.
- Manage operational risks efficiently and towards a 0 incident goal and escalate without delay to management on any unusual activity or issues.
- Initiate change to improve team organization, including but not limited to process change, internal workflow.
Transversal and Managerial responsibilities
- Assist to define and produce KPIs in order to monitor and benchmark effectiveness of the team.
- Ensure the controls and procedures are developed to support the business and reduce operational risks.
- Act as a point of contact for the introduction of new products and ensure that procedures are in place to correctly book and manage these transactions.
- Participate to all projects impacting your perimeter.
- Develop strong relationship with different stakeholders globally and locally.
- Manage the team workload, ensure back-ups are in place, and provide constant feedbacks to team members.
- Develop an effective reporting to the Head of Capital Market Middle offices.
- Ensure the management of the teams (animation, recruitment, trends, definitions of goals, appraisal, training...). Develop the usage of managerial tools such as Lean Management ones. Ensure strong team cohesion and implement Human Capital actions for your perimeter.
Within, Operations, Premises & Country COOs (OPC) based in Hong Kong, Capital Market Operations (CMO) teams are responsible to process the transaction activities for Credit, Rates, FX/MM, Securities and Equities for multiple geographies (APAC and EMEA). This role is within the Capital Markets Equity Trading and Sales Support Middle Office which includes Equity Investment Solutions and Equity Finance and Delta One.

University Degree holder from discipline in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Equity Derivatives including Structured products Middle Office environment is necessary, minimum 3 years of previous Managerial experience.
Fluency in English. Proficient in French or other Asian languages a definite advantage
