Job summary

As a Delivery Leader of the Core Platforms team, you will be part of to the Non Linear Rates IT Division within Capital Market IT (CMI) and to CMI's Montreal local manager.

 

This team in Montreal is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Non Linear Rates IT Division in collaboration with the teams in Paris. This covers the following five areas: Orchestrade Core, Pricing Services Core, Structuring, BI & Analytics and SCMR Dashboard.

 

In constant collaboration with the Delivery Leaders in Paris, you will apply the priorities defined in each Delivery by the dedicated Product Owner. The team will interact closely with end-users, GIT IT teams and external vendors. The Core Platforms Delivery Team will ultimately be responsible for building solutions that meet user needs, by specifying, developing, testing and supporting these changes.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key tasks :

 

Supporting resources in achieving their objectives (external and internal):

o    Create a trusting environment that encourages open communication, innovation and the right to make mistakes, in order to strengthen team cohesion.

o    Set up a framework that encourages autonomy, creativity, risk-taking and continuous improvement.

 

Ensure the development of quality solutions and proactive monitoring of their implementation:

o    Guaranteeing high production quality by ensuring compliance with best practices (impact analysis, test coverage, user validation, etc.).

o    Maintain and develop best practices, performance levels and knowledge transfer within the team and the community.

o    Ensure adequate, proactive and transparent reporting to management.

o    Be a driving force behind proactive management of technical debt, proposing remedial and continuous improvement actions.

 

Steer team delivery in line with technical quality and optimization values.

o    Manage delivery on the Montreal platform for the Non Linear Rates division.

o    Promote continuous improvement of our software factories based on agility, Software Craftmanship and SecDevOps principles.

o    Promote a culture of technological intelligence to keep abreast of the latest IT trends (Learning Organization).

o    Organize and support the team and communication

Level of minimal experience

Experience

o 3+ years minimum in Software Development

o 5+ years experience as Delivery Leader or IT Manager or Application Manager

o 2+ years mandatory experience on an IT Trading tool
