The Crédit Agricole CIB (“CACIB”) platform in Montreal is growing rapidly.
The Finance Department is in place, but is looking for a Finance Manager – Accounting & Management Control to:
- Structure internal processes
- Creating strong cohesion
- Support the rise of the Finance function for the Americas region.
This position provides the chance to garner your entrepreneurial side by joining the Canadian platform created a little over a year ago. This is a unique opportunity with an international exposure to the head office in France and other CACIB entities globally.
Main Tasks:
- 4 main responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the accounting of the service company
- Supervise and ensure the Planning and Management Control of the service Company
- Supporting local tax processes (including IFC – International Financial Center)
- Supervise two Finance teams of 5 employees locally who are servicing CACIB New York
Supplementary Information
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure, supervise and strengthen the financial function of Credit Agricole Services and Operations Inc. (“CASO”): financial accounts, financial reports and management control
- Structure and strengthen CASO’s financial function processes
- Develop a culture of collaboration and performance.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and the monitoring of KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and IFRS.
- Be a strategic partner of Canada Chief Finance Officer and senior management.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of financial statements.
- Support local tax processes in collaboration with the CFO (corporate tax, VAT, international taxation).
- Manage and lead employees by fostering team spirit and cross-functional relationships with other domains.
- Maintain and promote smooth relationships with:
- Auditors (internal and external),
- Tax authorities,
- Finance teams from New York and Paris.
- Canadian teams (HR, Ops, IT, etc.)

Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in accounting, and management control.
- Successful experience in team management and organization structuring.
- If possible knowledge of Canadian IFRS (public company).
- Bilingual French-English (oral and written).
- Leadership, ability to unite and sense of community.
- Ideally CPA or equivalent, with +10 years of experience
For positions available in Québec that require fluency in English, please note that it is required due to our global offices. The candidate will mainly support business operations and colleagues based outside of Québec and will interact on a daily basis in English (oral and written) with partners based outside Québec.
