Job summary

JOB TITLE:

 

Relationship Manager

 

 Key Responsibilities

 

Provide Origination and Client Coverage support to Managing Director, including client relationship management functions.
 

Use in-depth understanding of the Credit Agricole Group’s product offering and network to advance business development efforts with the Team’s clients and prospect relationships.
 

Independently maintain internal and external responsibility for certain aspects of client relationships; working together with Managing Director, take lead with certain clients to be developed especially new prospects focused in the Power and Energy sectors, including energy transition.
 

Understand each client’s strategy, businesses and financial situation, and anticipate its needs for financial services
 

Map client’s internal organization and identify key decision makers to develop strong relationships and foster multi-products/multi-countries relationships between the Bank and the client.
 

Develop and then leverage for the Bank’s benefit an in-depth understanding of clients’ and prospects’ strategies and business focus areas.
 

Assist in developing and managing global revenue budgets for each primary coverage client.
 

 

Liaise with product groups and international counterparts regarding (1) new and existing business opportunities and (2) internal matters, including credit approvals and pitches.
 

Cultivate and upgrade prospect list for future client development.
 

Oversee: briefing memos; internal and external presentations; financial models and pro forma capital structures; credit request and approval process for new transactions, amendments and annual reviews; monitoring and ongoing compliance with all Know Your Customer requirements, internal monitoring requirements, portfolio reviews, etc; analyzing risk/return metrics on all stand-alone transactions and client relationships.
 

Progressively tale responsibility of a P&L portfolio in a prime origination function
 

Act as Sector expertise leader internally and externally, attend and participate to industry conferences and panels in an active way
 

Act as first line of defence in a primary origination role by vetting counterparties, opportunities and risk/reward metrics

Salary Range: $180k-$230k.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Experience

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

§    Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written; ability to follow verbal and written instructions;

 

 

 

§    Significant experience in the financial services/corporate finance industry;

 

 

 

§    University degree in a related field (MBA or CFA is an asset);

 

 

 

§    Excellent presentation skills, organizational ability, ability to use initiative, ability to deal effectively with clients at a senior level;

 

 

 

§    Strong ability to understand and respond effectively to client needs;

 

 

 

§    Prior experience in developing and managing relationships a plus;

 

 

 

§    Professional and self-starter, self-motivated and goal-oriented.

 

 

 

§    Team player;

 

 

 

§    Ability to work within changing dynamics, tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders, and confidentiality;
