Department and Team Overview

The department is responsible for development and maintenance of Market Risk and Capital market Back-Office applications used by worldwide users.Most of the applications are in-house developments with a mix of Microsoft, Java and open source technologies.

This position is to join the Market Risk IT team in Singapore that manages the systems that handle risk and P&L consolidation and regulatory reporting, P&L and VAR analysis, risk charge and comprehensive risk calculation , Initial margin computation based on internal and regulatory models.

Summary of the position: 

Reporting to head of P&L Analysis & Regulatory Reporting IT section, you manage and lead a team of software developers and business analyst.

You ensure the operation of one or more applications over its/their entire life cycle.

Supervise services and projects to guarantee the delivery on time, on budget, on quality and complying with bank policy and established practices.

You contribute to evolution of service offer, improvement of capabilities of the team and promote adoption of transverse innovative solutions.

Main responsibilities:

As team manager, you

·         Organize and supervise activities of your team

·         Support and maintain applications under responsibility of your team and ensure all live applications are running accordingly with their SLA

·         Manage and improve team capabilities

·         Promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.

·         Develop people, identifying areas for new training and skill checks

·         Assist in hiring process

 As subject matter expert, you

 ·         Lead project initiations and contribute to preliminary studies

·         Review and validate designs of solutions in coordination with architecture and infrastructure teams

·         Oversee and advise during execution of projects

·         Work closely with architects for definition of technology strategy and follow up its implementation within the team

·         Act as final escalation point on support issue within your fields of expertise

This position requires leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with IT managers and senior stakeholders located mainly in Paris, Singapore and London.
