Job summary

Main Responsibilities

1. Responsible for management of CMTP Asia ITB product referent team delivery

  • Be responsible of ITB contributions and deliverables (Asia business requirements - domestic and cross-border offers).
  • Coordinate the local product team and consolidate the requirements in order to define the best approach to develop the Asian offer, Roadmap and prioritizations.
  • Prepare the product catalogue by country or area.
  • Be responsible for the validation and broadcast process of all the deliverables and ensure a close synchronization with the global CMTP Product Referent.
  • Ensure a follow up of the CMTP Tactical Roadmap and participate in arbitration or prioritization with the global CMTP roadmap.

2. Responsible for the delivery of the CMTP Asia business requirement document together with IT, Operation and local team

  • To be able to effectively and efficiently engage business to
    capture/discuss requirement
  • To be able to elicit requirements from business to ensure completeness
    and no ambiguity
  • Contributes to end-to-end analysis of processes, and to the definition of target processes with a view to enabling Straight Through Processing.
  • Coordinate internal/business review and get business signoff for various
    business documents and specifications.
  • Have access to market intelligence and aware of regulatory
    requirements and trends of Cash Management and Payment Services

3. Responsible for the end-to-end product development of Transaction Banking products for Asia in close coordination with IT, Operation and local team

  • Play a consultant role to ITB business to come out with multiple options for solutions and initiatives
  • Be the bridge between ITB business and IT delivery team during all phases of System Development Life Cycle
  • Ensure harmony and compatibility of proposed solution with existing systems
  • Coordinates UATs from ITB perspective
  • Contributes to the Change Management of the program and the implementation of the associated Target Operating Model in Asia
  • Key project success indicators are relayed to the CMTP Asia Program Manager for consolidation: business risks, issues (alerts), budgetary topics and critical path monitoring for combined operational reporting

4. Responsible for building the Transaction Banking products offer for Asia, in close coordination with the Front-Office

  • In close collaboration with the regional Transaction Banking Products in Asia, coordinates ITB contributions to the definition of the product and country roadmap, in line with the Transaction Banking product strategy for Asia, and contributes to the resulting business case
  • Closely work with regional product teams to manage the right quality of contributions and details on the product offer from Transaction Banking side
  • Ensures that products delivered or improved by the CMTP Asia project are incorporated in the global product catalogue. 

5. Contributes to the management reporting of the Asia project, within the Bank's governance of CMTP Asia.

Supplementary Information

  • Contributes to the preparation and facilitation of governance and management meetings of the projects, as defined by the CMT Asia Program Director and the Asia ITB sponsors
  • Contributes to the follow up and risk assessment
  • Performs quality assessment on deliverables
  • Contributes to the follow up of project management metrics, and especially the ITB KPIs
  • Contributes to the Change Request preparation, organization and assessment.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Finance, Management or any relevant degree courses. 

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

  • At least 7 years of relevant product development experience in financial
    services environment, preferably in area of cash management
  • Possess end to end business knowledge of Payments all the way from customer initiation via channels to back end fulfilment and settlement
  • Has a thorough understanding of relevant products such as domestic and international payments, real-time payments, client acquisition and reporting channels, RTGS transactions and FX payments
  • International experience; working across borders in a truly multi-cultural environment

Technical skills required

Strong Understanding:

Cash Management domain knowledge: Domestic and cross Border Payments, RTGS Payments, Real-time Payments, FX Payments, Acquisition and reporting. Across Corporate and FI client segments, preferably in area of Asia countries

 

Functional Skills:  

  • End-to-end operational model in Cash Management, within a Transaction Bank, understanding of value chain and cash management processing
  • Management of complex cash management projects
  • Working within transversal project teams
  • Thrives in an international, multi-cultural, working environment
