Reporting to: Head of Credit Coordination

Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank’s Credit Coordination department is seeking a Vice President.

 

The position will provide support to the Coverage teams by coordinating the credit process and ensuring high quality information is provided to decision makers in advance of relevant committees.

 

This is a full-time position located in New York City.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Assemble requests from Coverage (Chicago, New York, Canada, LATAM, MNC, Tech, etc) by:

-                       summarizing the transaction fully in memo form prior to business and credit committees, including profitability analysis, risk-weighted asset analysis, and client strategy

-                       set approval timeline and coordinate, along with Coverage and product lines, all committee scheduling

-                       acting as central point of contact for questions and info requests related to a transaction

-                       using internal systems to input authorization details and ensure accurate booking

Each client is reviewed once per year by the Risk Department; as such, analyst will:

-                       manage the annual review process for all clients

-                       ensure that all internal stakeholders have all relevant information as far in advance as possible

-                       coordinate with the international network and product teams as needed for annual reviews

-                       manage and recommend changes as needed with regards to overall client exposure

-                       use internal systems to input all authorization details to ensure ongoing booking accuracy

Portfolio maintenance:

-                       process minor/technical amendments

-                       focus on limiting anomalies related to past due annual reviews and past due internal ratings

-                       regularly review internal ratings with the goal of identifying any changes in advance

-                       monitor quarterly covenant compliance for entire portfolio, and identify any deterioration

 

Other:

-           Guide/support junior staff, when necessary

-           Act as a back-up to the Head of Credit Coordination

 

Qualifications:

-                       Good familiarity with the bank’s internal credit-related systems and processes

-                       Bachelor’s degree

-                       Excellent organizational and communication skills

-                       Familiarity with Microsoft Office

-                       Two or more years of banking experience

 

Will consider candidates at Associate level and up to Vice President level

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000
