We are seeking Market Data Administration Analyst to join the team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting front, middle, and back-office operations across global capital-markets activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of market data used across trading, risk management, and valuation systems. You will collaborate with traders, middle-office teams, and IT to ensure seamless data flow and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer market data across internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency of pricing, yield curves, and instrument reference data.
- Support the onboarding, validation, and maintenance of financial instruments (Bonds, Equities, Derivatives, FX, Structured Products, etc.).
- Perform daily quality controls, exception management, and data reconciliation between internal and external sources (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit, etc.).
- Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Finance to resolve data-related issues and ensure timely updates.
- Assist in the implementation of market data governance frameworks, including version control and audit trail maintenance.
- Liaise with vendors and internal IT teams for system enhancements, feeds, and data acquisition processes.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and documentation of procedures.
- Bachelor’s or Master is degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Capital Market environment (Middle Office, Back Office, or Market Data Operations).
- Familiarity with Front-to-Back workflows and data lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv (Eikon) or similar platforms.
- Awareness of the legal and regulatory frameworks applicable in the banking sector.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data-handling tools is an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and French required (You will need to service Anglophone clients and work with Anglophone colleagues)
