Job summary

Join our Middle Office Support Rates Team as a London Rates Middle Office Analyst. This role is crucial in supporting our Global Markets Division trading desks by ensuring efficient trade capture, validation, and lifecycle management. You will be instrumental in maintaining control functions and supporting front office operations in a dynamic international environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and proficiency in Excel.

 

 

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

 

 

Validation/Booking:

  • Conduct first-level trade input control in Front Office systems, including manual bookings.
  • Ensure the exhaustiveness of daily captures and term-sheets sent to other Rates & Equity Middle Office teams.
  • Handle modifications in Front Office systems with a focus on valuation impact control.

Post-Trade Issue Management:

  • Manage trade lifecycle events in Front Office systems.
  • Supervise exercises and expiries of trade options.
  • Investigate and follow up on breaks and requests from Back Office or other Middle Office teams.

Monitoring:

  • Perform collateral reporting on a weekly basis.
    Monitor the Mandatory Clearing Process in MarkIT Wire and regulatory reporting to DFA & EMIR.

Other Duties:

  • Control and coordinate the CVA fees process.
    Provide robust support for Front Office including reporting, monitoring, and creation of counterparties.
  • Ensure the controls and procedures are in place to support the business and reduce operational risk.
