Summary

The main missions of Risk and Permanent Control (RPC) are to:
analyse, measure and provide an independent opinion on all risks (excluding legal and reputation risks) incurred by the Bank e.g. credit (including country and portfolio), market or liquidity risks
lead and supervise the permanent control system, by proposing relevant limit framework for credit, market and liquidity risks
monitor and measure operational risks.

Key Responsibilities
Development of a monthly risk dashboard and its production;
Regulatory surveillance i.e. monitoring of the introduction of new regulations / changes in existing regulations across the Asia Pacific network. Presentations on the significant evolutions to the Regional Management and the concerned Risk Teams and training on these topics;
Coordination of the implementation of new regulatory requirements (ex: Climate Risk, model Risk…);
Coordinating the responses to inspections and findings arising out of inspections, in-depth reviews, thematic investigations, close supervision meetings and other requests for information from regulators in coordination with Head Office and relevant RPC teams.
Risk Governance.
Communication, either by way of a dedicated Newsletter or whenever necessary to RPC Asia

Summary:
Assist in processing and monitoring GMD credit limit and documentation requests and regular reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-screening and Liaison
Assist in pre-screening and acting as the first level of control of GMD credit limit requests and perform ongoing regular follow up with the relevant parties for the status of the review and approval.
Assist in pre-screening of GMD documentation requests (e.g. ISDA, CSA VM, NAFMII, NAFMII PAD, GMRA, GMSLA, etc.) and coordinate approval of doc issues.
Assist in following up credit issues and queries on credit limits and doc status, etc.
Monitoring
Prepare monthly monitoring reports on GMD credit lines requests and documentation requests respectively for (i) proactive follow up of the pending requests with the relevant parties, (ii) regular P1 doc meeting discussion, and (iii) monthly highlight to GMD management and relevant parties.
Prepare regular reporting (such as MTM reporting on the sensitive counterparties and IM monitoring report) and any ad hoc monitoring reporting.

Summary

Key Responsibilities
Either through his/her own action or under the guidance of the RM / Head of MNC clients - HK:
Handle Know Your Customer (“KYC”) on-boarding /periodic review, including liaising with clients and all internal related departments.
Handle all offshore booking transactions.
Interface with clients pro-actively day-to-day account service issues / product enquiries/ KYC due diligence on clients and on daily transactions;
Make sure compliance principles, internal and external rules/ regulations are applied in assisting in managing the commercial relationship, doing KYC due diligence, and handling the daily transactions with clients.
Proactively manage risks related to each transaction, along with the concerned business lines, to anticipate default situations and minimize specific provisioning.
