Job summary
Summary
A developer role based in London requiring strong communication and customer-facing skills; the candidate should have experience coding in C# or Java and a desire to learn quickly about Financial Services.
The role requires a sense of independence and ability to work within a challenging environment, and involves significant exposure to front office users; mainly traders, Middle Office, risk analysts, and operational staff. It is a great opportunity to learn and extend the successful candidate’s skills in a broad range of financial products.
The main focus of the role will be to take part in projects developing the feature set of our various front-office systems for foreign exchange trading.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will manage a variety of incremental project deliveries and BAU deliveries on key systems, including:
· Barracuda – vendor order-management system with in-house integration code
· Sigma – in-house spot FX trade management and position keeping system
· Orchestrade/Murex – vendor systems responsible for FX option and metals trade management
