Summary

The Corporate Banking and Transverse system domain within GIT New York organization is segregated into two IT lines in charge of IT projects, applications support & maintenance of business systems.  Corporate Banking IT:  Commercial banking (Front and back office), Trade Finance, Payments and SWIFT messaging. Corporate & Support Functions IT: Finance, Counterparty & Credit Risk systems, Compliance applications, transverse applications, as well as non-business applications (IT for IT, Administration, HR ...). 

The Corporate Banking IT line is looking for a hands-on manager of Commercial Banking IT to manage the production support and business projects for FIS ACBS and Finastra TI+ systems.

Key Responsibilities

•      Lead production support and business projects for the ACBS and TI+ applications.

•      Coordinate the internal and external resources required to support of the applications.

•      Contribute to key initiatives related to technical/functional IT and business projects to meet and support business objectives.

•      Responsible for production support:

•       Manage day to day production needs:

•      Resolution of production issues, including RCA, defect remediation and incident reporting.

•      Lead troubleshooting of issues and provide guidance to the support team members.

•      Track internal and vendor compliance with support SLAs.

•      Management of maintenance activities including business continuity and critical application failover tests.

•      Report on domain status to internal stakeholders and management.

•      Actively support all efforts to simplify and enhance the information systems.

•      Responsible for project deliverables:

•       Act as main point of contact for projects.

•       Work with project stakeholders and contributors to gather requirements and develop solution strategies.

•       Coordinate with technical teams and provide clarifications and guidance on requirements.

•       Create required documentation for requirements, solution design, implementation.

•       Develop test scenarios and test scripts and execute and facilitate unit, integration and user acceptance testing.

•       Train and support teams.

•       Ensure accuracy and expediency of any activity related to audits.

•       Ensure that all system implementations meet US regulatory standards and are done in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $120k - $160k

·         7+ years’ experience as IT application manager or team lead supporting commercial lending and/or trade finance systems.

·         Financial Services industry experience

·         Experience supporting Operations Teams

·         Experience managing an IT support team

·         Financial system (Accounting and/or Financial reporting), Credit risk or Commercial banking

·         ITIL

·         Project management

·         SQL

·         Excel (test plans)

·         Word (business requirements, analysis)

·         PowerPoint for presentations

·         Unix/Linux and Windows environments 

·          Knowledge of Oracle databases
